Yep, you read it right! Armageddon Les Effets Speciaux is going! According to our very own source related to the project will Armageddon be replaced by a Narnia related attraction. Although our source did not reveal what the actual attraction will be, it seems that La Roquine on Disney Central Plaza knows more.

According to him will Studio 7 be taken over by a Narnia walkthrough, similar to the one found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. The attraction there shows a making-of video and highlights sets, costumes and props from the movie.

Our source could share one thing however, an interactive element would be part of the tour.

Armageddon: Special Effects!

This will also be the very first Armageddon-themed Disney pin released anywhere in the world, and a very rare occasion that Disney calls upon one of its Buena Vista/Touchstone licenses for use in Pin Trading.

A couple of months ago we reported that the Bottle on Tour truck was removed on Backlot. It finally returned without the Bottle on Tour banner and the sound effects.

Also returning are brand new Armageddon posters on the side of Studio 7. The old faded ones got removed back in July only to be replaced 3 months later.

Following attractions will be closed:

• Armageddon Special Effects: 8th to 12 May 2006
• Studio Tram Tour, Behind the Magic: 29th May to 2nd June 2006
• Flying Carpets over Agrabah: 26th to 30th June 2006
